So the long weekend has come to an end. It was a good rest and I am not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow morning. I have gotten pretty used to sleeping in every morning.

On Thanksgiving, we stopped by Jaime's grandfather's house for a visit before we headed to Mom and Dad's. Jaime's family was celebrating Thanksgiving there this year. It was our turn to go to my family's house for Thanksgiving this year. I shoveled off Jaime's grandfather's steps before we left since there was a little bit of snow build up on them.

We got to my folks house, and Jenn, Tom, Raechel, and Jakob were there. Jakob has changed a lot in just the short amount of time that has gone by since we last saw him. He is very cute. Mom did not want us to get full on appetizers before the meal, so we all had to wait until dinner to eat anything. As usual, mom created a great Turkey dinner. We all got stuffed.

Finally, a break. Even though we only had a 3 day work week, for me, it was long. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Thanksgiving tomorrow and not having to think about work for a few days.

Jaime went on a trip down to Dartmouth this morning with Tony. She had to get a checkup. Everything came out fine. The roads were a little bad, so I am glad I got the snow tires put on the Prius yesterday. They did a little Christmas shopping while they were down there as well.

Jenn and Tom should be up with Raechel and Jakob. We are going to stop by Jaime's grandfather's for a bit tomorrow morning then head over to Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately Chris, Laura, and Sarah won't be there. We will get to see Chris and Laura at Christmas, but Sarah still has a while to go in Korea. I am sure she is anxious to get home soon! I know it can be hard to be away from home during the holidays because I had to do it a few years ago (geez, actually 5 years ago, time sure flies!) when I was out in Qatar.

Other than that, everything has been pretty routine here. So, I will get back to playing around on my site. Good night.
