Finally got to have a relaxing weekend. This is one of the first weekends I have had in a long time without anything on the agenda and I didn't go in to work. Yesterday was a chill out at home day. My MP3 player died last week, and I got a new one. It came in yesterday so I spent some of the day messing with it and loading it with songs. I think it will work well for me. I really can't stay motivated about going to the gym if I don't have any music to listen to because there are no TVs there or anything and I find it impossible to read while working out.
We watched The Godfather part 1 yesterday. I got the set for Christmas and I had never seen the movies. We were going to watch the second one tonight, but at 200 minutes long, I thought I would fall asleep during it, so I wanted to save it for sometime when we could watch it during the day.
We watched Ryan this afternoon for Tony. Tony is still driving a rental car because he got his truck smashed a week ago and it will be in the shop for a long time getting repaired. We took Ryan up to go swimming at IROC. That was my first time ever going to IROC. It was actually pretty fun. The pool started to get packed after we were there for an hour, so we took off. Ryan was tired so he took a nap when we got back home.
I've still been playing my Madden game franchise. I have gotten up to the 2010 season now. I'm still enjoying it, despite the frustrations that come with it. I got a new coach, and with that, a new playbook. So it has taken a little getting used to how some of the new plays work. The computer can still seem to pull off amazing passes in triple coverage where I get picked off in single coverage several times a game, so that is probably the most annoying thing. That is where they usually burn me. The computer generally sucks on run plays, so it resorts to the long bomb a lot, and gets lucky.
I have not noticed much in the weight loss. I am a little disappointed I did not hit my goal of being under 200 by the end of February, but I will keep at it. I have been pretty good with eating, although it can be hard to stay motivated on the exercise front. I feel like I have to choose whether to work later and get caught up, or go to the gym, and sometimes work wins.
